About UsFirst of all, let me say Thank You for taking time out of your busy schedule and allowing me to introduce you to the Pine Ridge Boys. It all started back in 1963 with some of the original members being Charles Burke, Miles Cooper, Jim Stewart, Wayne Shuford, and Charles Abee. As time went on, some members left and some came back. Based out of Mooresville, NC the group continues to carry the message of Jesus Christ up and down the east coast and into Ohio, Indiana and Kentucky. Today's group consist of original member and owner Jim Stewart. Jim has been singing Gospel music over 60 years. Jim also received the Living Legend Award in 2003 at the Grand Ole Gospel Reunion along with other original members of the group. At the age of 74 Jim had some health issues was not always able to travel with the group. With this in mind, Jim decided to ask his son Larry to come and sing bass and manage the group in order for him to be absent when needed. Some of you may remember Larry from his days with The Singing Americans; Larry sang the bass and managed the quartet from 1990 to 1994 when the group disbanded. There is always excitement when Jim and Larry both are on stage at the same time singing bass. Other members include Jerry Jennings, Duane Rizzo, and Robert Belk.
